［作品内容］

FUJIYAMAシリーズの５作目

トップカバーに高低差には無理があるが富士山を彫りおこしてみました。

六合目くらいの寛永噴火跡や頂上火口をとサイズ感はデフォルメして極力大きくしましたが、まだまだ描写として弱く感じたので前方の遮蔽爪が露出するようにカバーを削り取り、富士山からの清い雪解け水が流れるかの如く水路は内部を削りとり極力大きく広がるようにした。

陽極酸化膜でシンプルにライトブルー系のグラデーションで仕上げてみたが、霊峰富士に対して見劣りがしたのでカバー周囲を焼き上げてポップに！富士山西側斜面をピンクの酸化膜を施して夕陽を浴びる霊峰富士に仕上げました。

［作品への思い］

昨年晴天下の富士山を精進湖からみて、一度は彫りおこしたいと思いがつのり新年早々に描けて感謝。

［商品の命名として］

全体的にポップな色合いの富士山から「FUJIYAMA」と命名。

昨年精進湖から大きな富士山を初めて拝んで、人生終盤となりましたがまだまだ夢、希望をもって高みを目指したいと心から思った。

[Work content]

The fifth installment of the FUJIYAMA series.

It is difficult to create height differences on the top cover, but I tried carving Mt. Fuji.

I deformed the area around the 6th station of the Kan'ei eruption site and the summit crater to make it as large as possible, but I still felt that the depiction was weak, so I shaved off the cover to expose the shielding claws. The interior of the waterway has been carved as wide as possible to create the image of clear snowmelt water flowing from Mt. Fuji.

I tried a simple light blue gradation finish using an anodized film, but it looked a bit underwhelming against the sacred Mount Fuji, so I baked the edges of the cover to make it pop! I applied a pink oxide film to the western slope of Mount Fuji, giving it the appearance of sacred Mount Fuji bathed in the setting sun.

The underbody has an image of flowers in full bloom, as if waiting for spring!

[Thoughts about the work]

Last year, when I saw Mt. Fuji under clear skies from Lake Shoji, I wanted to carve it at least once, and I am grateful that I was able to draw it early in the new year.

[As a product name]

The name ``FUJIYAMA'' comes from Mt. Fuji, which has a pop of color throughout.

Last year, he saw the mighty Mt. Fuji for the first time from Lake Shojiko, and even though he was nearing the end of his life, he knew from the bottom of his heart that he still wanted to aim high with dreams and hopes.
